Models used to predict the instantaneous injected fuel mass are of varied interest in automotive applications, including for providing inputs CFD calculations or engine control. While multiple injection strategies now commonly diesel engines, overall approach may be susceptible fusion, which is defined as two successive injections that partly totally coupled due short time interval between each event. In this work, a new model flow rate from injector proposed based on analytical solution first-order linear dynamic system exposed an impulsion. Experiments also conducted quantify main characteristics solenoid indirect-action under different pressures, backpressures and durations, representing total 33 conditions. From these results, validated against experimental data using single strategy. Then, enhanced split with without fusion. Successful comparisons realized experiment. The then successfully simulate piezoelectric experiencing levels fusion available literature so illustrate universality approach.
